We moved

We're living in Orem now. I'm not really sure how we got here and what's going on--it all feels like a daze. We're in a cute little neighborhood (older) with an HOA fee. Right over our back half fence we have a park, pool, basketball courts and field. Across from our front yard is a five acre park, rec center and high school. Talk about recreational activites. We couldn't pass up the location. If you put a circle door on our house it would look like the shire. Criss cross windows, brick, ivy, roses. As far as the inside of the house goes, let's just say we've already started our remodel. We've had framers working here this week tearing down walls and re framing the layout. Electricians, plumbers, fireplace guys, cement guys have been coming and going all week giving bids. We're excited about how much this new house plan will fit our family.

We really miss our friends in West Jordan and are excited to go out with some of them this week. We're really excited about our new neighborhood and ward. People have been so welcoming. We've had a couple game nights, Tamie has some great women to walk with, a book group and friends for the kids.

So despite the high stress, we know we're in the right place. We want you all to move here with us. I realize I haven't even taken pictures--it's pretty much been survival mode.

We spoke in church this week about gratitude and thanksgiving. Let's all take the time to count our blessings this week--specific blessings we've had this year. We'll have to send some pictures soon.
