Ten Whole Years

Posted by Ryan on Thursday, December 17, 2009

Without doubt, the best decade in my life has been these last ten years.

It was ten years ago today that Tamie and I were married. It's been an incredible adventure--I suppose I could accurately describe it as a rush. I'm so thrilled I have someone like Tamie to share it with.

We stayed in a hotel room for a couple of nights and had the chance to attend the temple together and to go to the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. Having that time together and the chance to consider what a beautiful life we've created, I was overwhelmed with joy. This precious seal that binds us is beyond appraisal.

Happy Anniversary, Tamie. I love you.

I love the way Ryan describes it: a rush. You guys are an awesome couple. If I could choose...I would live right next store to you.

Congrats on the 10 years! That is so wonderful. Time does fly by doesn't it! I remember you two first dating in highschool, a perfect couple then as you are now. Your boys are just adorable...and handsome! You sure have your hands full...but that's what people say to us too! Good luck you two, take care!

Summer fun

Posted by Tamie on Sunday, November 1, 2009

Ryan played on an intramural frisbee team. We had fun watching him. Ty is getting pretty good at throwing the frisbee too.

Ryan rigged up this waterslide for the kids. We spent many hours in our pool.

Uncle Chris gave Granma and Granpa tickets for a demolition derby that they took the older boys to. Pretty cool.

4th of July

We rose bright and early to see the balloons. It really is an inspiring sight.
Would YOU trust someone with that look with your fireworks?!
This is a good representation of how Jordan felt about fireworks.
Did you catch my yawn? Holidays ARE so fun but can get tiring.

Hiking

I had a goal to hike every Monday this summer but then I lost my hike book so it only happened a few times. This was when Ty and I hiked the Y. Man--that really is a steep hike. He was amazed that the BYU administration building really did look like an X from up high.
